IJH Mini Tour

In preparation for the IJH Mega Tour in 2012 we kicked the festive season with another mini tour round London Town.

THURSDAY

It started with an orgy with a load of girls from last weeks party but that's another story.

The lovely people at Ambiel Music and Just Another Label had their Xmas ho-down last Thursday and very kindly asked us along to perform. Supporting some other wicked acts like Voodoo Browne we hopped on stage to get the place jumping, blasting out the beats and rhymes as we do! It was a fookin banger of a night, loads a friends to support us, a potential record deal (more on that later) and free bar...Yes!

HEAVY HEAD FRIDAY!

...but no time to nurse the hangover...Friday night was what we'd been waiting for, pushing and promoting all week - the tear up at Le Scratch @ Shoreditch's uber sick Concrete. WE SMASHED IT!!! We hit the stage running and didn't stop til the last lyric and kick drum, we absolutely tore it up! The only tiny blot on the big paper was all the people who said they were coming and couldn't make it - pretty gutted cos we really wanted everyone to see the show when it went so well! Next time....

HEAVIER HEAD SATURDAY!

Saturday came with more tired eyes but there was no time for rest as we had another gig for NOISE LONDON at Babalou (noise-london) in Brixton (underneath Mass). We got there early before we were gonna head up to the Finger Lickin' management Xmas party but on arrival we got told we'd been moved way down the line up and didn't go on till midnight. Gutted we missed the Finger Lickin party but not disappointed we stayed as the night at Babalou was banging! Nothing but original tunes all night, all produced and played by people at the night - and they were banging! Picks of the bunch from DjReactionUk and GrandmasterSplinter! Many a drink later we jumped up to spread our message and smiles to the crowd and that we did with aplomb! It was fookin ace and the feedback couldn't have been any better!listen to the  Recording of the  set  and the rest if the DJ's at noise

LEAD HEAD SUNDAY!!!

Saturday turned into a massively late one and after the previous gigs we were knackered!!!! Sunday = a massive lay in!! But Sunday evening came and another gig was on the cards at Camden Rock in, you guessed it, Camden. It was a Too Many T's gig with Leon's counterpart in rhyme, Standaloft - Pikey was going to swing by and jump on stage too but alas he had to meet up with some potential producers so Leon brought home the 3rd of our 5 leg mini tour! Sunday evenings in Camden is still like a Friday or Saturday and a full house laughed and nodded their heads as Too Many T's threw down their usual skilful back to back rap skills and comic genius too a T!

DEAD HEAD MONDAY!!!!

It's now Monday and we're on contacting everybody we've met on the mini tour so far - and there's been a lot of wicked people we've met with links from photography to booking agents to promoters etc etc so there's a lot of work to do before our next gig tonight at the Jamboree in Cable Street!! See you there or see you soon!!

Sign off with one of our favourite tunes from the weekend - turn this up loud...

Peace, love and happiness to aaaaaall!!! x
